Singapore or Bust

In just under two months I will be calling Singapore home. Yeah, seriously, Singapore. The exchange program through McGill has an exchange deal with National University of Singapore and somehow I got accepted. In a few months this site is going to be littered with pictures of Asia.

Singapore is an interesting place, at least in text. The government is essentially a one-party system, but the members of the government are still elected. The government controls the media, the courts, and well everything except the economy, yet it is considered one of the least corrupt counties in the world. It’s a developed nation surrounded by developing nations and I can’t wait to get there.
